So excited for this Sept. issue of Vogue Magazine as Beyonce has creative control over it! She hired the 1st black photographer to shoot the cover in it’s 126 years of existence! With all the amazing black photographers  in the industry, this should of been happened decades ago! But anyway….. I’m excited for this interview she did too where Beyonce speaks on loving the skin that you’re in! The mother of three talked about accepting her body and what it took to get to that point. She shared what it was like after giving birth to her daughter Blue and the pressure she put on herself to snap back. She said, “I put pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months, and scheduled a small tour to assure I would do it. Looking back, that was crazy.” Hey also revealed that she was 218 pounds when she gave birth to her twins Sir and Rumi Carter. She talked about being swollen from toxemia, which left her on bed rest for over a month. With both her health and the twins’ health in danger, she ultimately had to have an emergency C-Section.
I especially love what she said since a lot of women after babies try to rush back into “perfection”. I can recall in my teens & early 20’s trying to push my body into an unnatural state but now I just focus on being my best #LirisFit ?? Check it out below but here’s the link to her full interview: https://www.vogue.com/article/beyonce-september-issue-2018  ????? #LirisMotivates
